Dr. D’Arcy Dornan has over 20 years of international professional expertise in the tourism, travel and hospitality industry, more specifically in government relations, strategic communication and planning, project management, market analysis, research and development, partnership strategy, talent recruitment (placement, training and retention), public relations, international affairs and business, sustainable destination and program/project development.

He is currently working in the following capacities with the following organizations:

1. Cofounder and director of Tourism, Hospitality & Education Solutions and THINK, the Tourism Hospitality Information Network
2. Global Sustainable Tourism Council, Country Representative for Brazil
3. Tourism and hospitality education and competencies R&D project, sponsored by Brazil’s National Council for Scientific and Technological Development, an organization of the Brazilian federal government under the Ministry of Science and Technology
4. World Institute for Action Learning Brasil or WIAL Brasil, International communications (marketing) and business development director

Previously, he was MBA director and associate professor in the tourism and hospitality management program at the La Rochelle Business School in France. Prior to this he was program director and assistant professor of the tourism and hospitality studies program at Central Connecticut State University and Founder of the Professional Tourism Development program at the University of California, Davis Extension.
